Thanks to a suggestion by a listener to Substance Abuse 411, we became aware of a Jewish Recovery program at the Daniel B. Sobel Friendship House in West Bloomfield, Michigan.

We sat down with the Director of the facility, Rabbi Yisrael Pinson and discussed the many facets of the program, finding out about other "Recovery Rabbis" around the country, and the growth of similar programs in the Jewish community.
