Dr. Ken Winters, the Director of the Center for Adolescent Substance Abuse Research at the University of Minnesota, joins Substance Abuse 411 to talk about how the last part of the brain to reach its full functionality is the area that allows adolescents or any of us to fully reason. While this is an impediment to staying away from harmful behavior, especially in todays world with YouTube and reality shows everywhere showing that harmful behavior. Dr. Winters feels parents can make a huge difference. Please join us for this latest informative conversation on Substance Abuse 411.
